My new obsession...FELT FOOD!!
That's right...food made out of felt! I began my addiction with an expensive purchase from Pottery Barn Kids. Grace (and Mason) LOVE to play at the pretend kitchen and I sometimes worry about the lead in plastic food (NERD)...Grace likes to really take a bite every once in a while! The food at PBK is so cute - we have waffles with a side of strawberries, bacon and eggs with a side of toast, a lunch bag with a sandwich, chips, apple and juice box (thanks Libby!)...and SHHHHHH, I bought the Farmer's Market bag of fruits and veggies and some cupcakes for her birthday. I started looking online and found some of the cutest things...

another Beckham in the making...
I've always dreamed of being a soccer mom!! My dream came true today as Mason played his very first soccer game...he has only practiced twice and as soon as the coach put him in the game, he ran straight for the ball and made the team's first goal!!! I definitely think he was born to play sports. Here is a dose of the halftime conversation between the coach and Mason:
Coach: Mason, are you getting the hang of it...do you have any questions?
Mason: What's the score?
Coach: It's 2 to 2...
Mason: Well, we gotta get out there and get another SCORE!!!
He was so cute and I was so proud! I was somewhat afraid of him being a ball hog...he definitely likes to be in charge (don't know where he gets that...haha)! He was such an awesome teammate and really jumped in there to rally up his team. He raised his hands each time he made a goal (yep, that new Mabery kid made 4 goals of the team's 6) and just really impressed us with his soccer skills! We came right home and geared up for baseball...today's the first practice of the season!
Good Luck Mason - And thanks for making my dreams come true...you are an outstanding young man!! I'll always be your #1 fan and cheerleader!

And doggie makes 5!!
We adopted a dog yesterday from Lost Paws of Texas Rescue (great organization) and she is so wonderful! She is the cutest thing ever...some kind of crazy mix of a dachshund and miniature schnauzer. I'm not the biggest animal lover...I definitely don't do puppies, but she is fabulous. She is housetrained and is so gentle with the kids. She loves them as much as they love her!! We haven't quite figured out a name. The organization named her Angel, but we are thinking of one of these names...let us know which one you like best: Lucy, Lily, Annie or Bella! We took her to the dog wash yesterday afternoon and we all had a great time. Grace and I took pictures while Mike and Mason did some big scrubbing! HOW DID WE GET SO LUCKY??
